\n \nWe use OpenSource tools. Currently we are using Ruby on Rails and SproutCore for developing applications. We use PostgreSQL and MongoDB for databases, depending on the needs of the application. We believe in Agile software development and use Scrum as our project management methodology. The Software Engineers pair-program on a regular basis and follow TDD principles. \n

\nCore Responsibilities\n

\n\u2022\tDevelop advanced web applications using Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, SproutCore, HTML/CSS,\nand JavaScript.
\n\u2022\tWork to build and maintain software with the highest standards of software craftsmanship.
\n\u2022\tHelp build a culture of learning and continuous improvement on the team.
\n\u2022\tBuild strong business domain knowledge related to online advertising, campaign planning, and execution, ad serving technologies and related topics.
\n\u2022\tCollaborate with customers, product owners, developers and testers to solve real business problems.
\n\u2022\tCollaborate with Software Test Engineers to create automated acceptance and integration tests.
\n\u2022\tSupport and improve development infrastructure including continuous integration\nserver and automated testing infrastructure.

\n \nQualifications

\nWork Experience:
\n\u2022 Experience working on Agile teams
\n\u2022 Strong knowledge of Ruby language, design principles and patterns.
\n\u2022 Experience building RESTful web applications all the way down the stack from\nthe front-end down to the metal.
\n\u2022 Solid knowledge of relational databases (Postgresql) and/or \u201cNoSQL\u201d document \nstores (MongoDB).
\n\u2022 Master Software Craftsman\u2014at least 5 years of experience; expert in OO design, design patterns, TDD/BDD, refactoring; proven ability to develop large-scale sustainable applications; ability to mentor other team members
\n\u2022 Ruby experience 2-3 years of real-world Ruby/Rails experience; someone the rest of the team would readily look to for \u201cRails way\u201d design expertise
\n\u2022 Experience as a member of an Agile team or familiar with Agile methodologies.
\n\u2022 Experience working with and contributing to, open source software projects is a plus
\n\u2022 Experience with Agile engineering practices including: test-driven development,\npair programming, refactoring and emergent design, continuous integration.
\n\u2022 Experience with web front-end technologies and techniques including: SproutCore,\nJavaScript, HTML/CSS, jQuery, and REST. Adept at building rich web applications
\n\u2022 Passion for solving business problems through innovative technology solutions.

\nTechnical Skills:
\n\u2022 Ruby, JavaScript, and Agile

\nEducation:
